Yes, that is the normal case. Send the product height, width, depth and weight, how many go on each shelf including any back row, and how many shelves you need. The structure is worked out from those numbers.
Most of what we build ships flat and folds up in store without tools. Cutouts and some fixed structures are exceptions. If the unit also needs to fold back down for storage after the campaign, say so before the structure is designed.
