Custom POS Displays
Point-of-sale units designed from scratch when no standard stand fits the product, the weight or the placement.
Custom POS work starts where the catalogue ends: a bottle that needs a cradle, a boxed electronic item heavier than it looks, a category that has to show fifteen variants in one metre of aisle.
The process is the same as any other unit, with one addition — a prototype. We build a physical sample, you load your real product into it, and we look at shelf height, fit, stability and how the unit behaves once it is half empty. Changes at that stage are cheap; changes after the bulk run are not.
Custom structures are also where we are most likely to tell you that a material will not work. A unit that holds its load on day one but sags by week three is not a successful display, and we would rather say so at design stage.

- Concentrated point loads — bottles, boxed electronics — need cradles or local reinforcement.
- Half-empty behaviour is tested: many units are least stable when partly sold through.
- If the load is beyond what board can safely carry, we will recommend a different material rather than build it.
Placement and environment

Frequently asked questions
How long does a custom POS display take to develop?
It depends on the structure and on how many prototype rounds are needed. A straightforward variation on a proven structure moves quickly; a new load-bearing design with a prototype round takes longer. We give a date commitment once the structure and quantity are confirmed.
Do you charge for the prototype?
Prototype cost depends on size and complexity, and it is quoted separately from the bulk run so you can see what each stage costs. Send the product details and we will tell you what the sample involves.
Can you work from our existing display design?
Yes. We review a supplied design for shelf strength, fold pattern and print suitability, and come back with anything we would change and why — before quoting.
