A dump bin has one job: let a shopper reach in and take something without thinking about it. That makes the opening height, the bin depth and the base strength the three decisions that matter.
Bin depth is a trade-off. Deep bins hold more stock and need refilling less often, but stock at the bottom becomes hard to reach and stops selling. We size the bin to the pack and to how often the store will actually refill it.
The base carries the whole load in one place, so a bin holding bulk stock needs a reinforced or double-walled base even when the individual packs are light.

How much stock does a dump bin hold?
It depends on bin volume and pack size. Rather than quoting a number, tell us the pack dimensions and how many units you want in the bin at a time — we will size the bin to that and tell you the resulting footprint.
Can one bin hold two different products?
Yes, with an internal divider. Two SKUs in one bin works well when both are impulse items at a similar price; it works less well when one sells much faster, because the bin looks half empty.
Is a dump bin suitable for a long campaign?
Dump bins take more physical handling than any other display type because customers reach into them all day. For a long placement we specify a thicker board and a reinforced base, and it is worth planning a mid-campaign replacement of the header artwork.
